William Ho
William was born and grew up in Hong Kong. He obtained his law degree at Leeds University. He became a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1989.
William is the managing partner and the founder of Burton Burton & Ho ("BBHO") in England.
William has almost 20 years experience in private practice. He specialises in dealing with both real estate development work and company commercial work. He is well known in the Chinese community in Yorkshire acts as the legal adviser for various local Chinese business assoications.
William deals with a broad range of real estate development work in the U.K. including the structuring and financing of residential portfolio investment deals, residential land development, sale and purchase of residential and commercial properties, residential and commercial properties management and commercial site development.
William also looks after a broad range of company clients both in UK and China, dealing with all of their legal requirements. For example, he assisted a Chinese pyrotechnic company to expand their business, resulting in a doubling of their turnover within 2 years. William deals with all the Corporate work for the company including business site acquisition, employment contracts and disputes, commercial contracts, distribution logistics, Health and Safety rules and regulations compliance, agent contracts and debt recovery.
During the last two years, William has received numerous requests and instructions from UK companies to advise on China business markets and opportunities. To illustrate his expertise in this field, William is acting on a consultancy basis for a major Yorkshire law firm to develop their legal alliance with law firms in China.
William has extensive contacts in UK, Hong Kong and China. He recognises the ever-growing markets in China for all types of industries and businesses. Thanks to assistance from his well qualified and experienced team in PRC department, he is looking to assist more UK companies to do business and invest in China.
William is a keen golfer and enjoys watching British football. He is living with his partner Kaye and daughter Lilly-Mei. He is passionate about Chinese culture and is hoping to introduce the deep-rooted Chinese culture and history to Yorkshire in England, especially the famous and delicious Chinese cuisine.
