A Golden Time of Opportunity

To celebrate Chinese New Year in style, the chief executive of BBHO, Mr. William Ho and Helen Ibbotson, managing director of HiA architects Ltd invited several honourable guests to the Yorkshire & Humber Chinese New Year dinner on 11th February.  Our guests of honour included the chairman of Sheffield Wednesday football club, Mr. Lee Strafford and the Olympics Gold medallist, diving champion, Miss Li Na.   

Both HiA architects and BBHO have achieved a great deal of successes in the Chinese markets by providing professional services in the fields of architecture and legal services.

It was less than 2 years since we witnessed the spectacular opening of the Olympics in China who have now ‘passed the baton’ to England who are set to host the Olympics in 2012.  BBHO is proud to be associated with the prestige of the Olympic star Li who will happily be sharing her Olympic experience and the secrets of her success with us.  For those of you who are also interested in sharing the Olympics experience with Li Na, please do let us know.

Following on from the New Year dinner, we will keep in contact with our sporting partners, and wish them all the success in their respective fields, both home & abroad in the months and years to come.

In summary, through 2009 BBHO PRC division has achieved numerous successes in China for clients and ourselves.  The current projects we are working on include:  carbon credit acquisition via VER (Voluntary Emissions Reductions) and CDM (Clean Development Mechanisms), supply sustainability technology to Chinese enterprises, raising finance in Europe for Chinese businesses, educational areas and knowledge and skill exchange between Chinese and English football clubs.
